Jazz!

George contacted me from Kent whom is suffering with the onset of
dementia, and asked "Would you have old Jazz classics". Well George
as a big jazz addict myself, (YES). Email me a list of your
favourites and Server Sak Nik will implement, in the meantime listen
to a few of my favourites, every Sunday through the Summer Season.
Acker Bilk : Benny Goodman Charlie Parker : Chris Barber : Coleman
Hawkins : Count Basie : Duke Ellington : Humphrey Lyttelton : Kenny
Ball & His Jazzmen : Louis Armstrong : Woody Herman to name but a
few. Enjoy George and all listeners that have Jazz memories.
Brass!

I got involved with brass bands influeced my my father for a short time out of school hours, but back in those dark days it was a grown up dominated environment and certainly not particularly welcoming to children.
Thankfully since then most of the traditional brass bands have moved on from their origins. Change was a little slower for some though, especially those playing at the top level. Jazz is my favourite just has an edge.
Country!

Why do I love coutry music. In a nutshell, music makes me happier and feel better. I am told It stimulates the brain to release dopamine and endorphins which makes me feel happier and better. Benefits ascribed to listening to music are pain relief, anxiety reduction, lowered blood pressure, improved sleep, increased alertness, and improved memory.
Mary contacted me, she likes line dancing but her legs are a bit wobbly. CAREFUL MARY
